MACC-Moberly will host its 2023 Veterans Day Ceremony on Friday, November 10, at 11:00am in the MACC Auditorium on the Moberly campus. The College annually honors the many veterans among their faculty, staff, and student body. MACC would like to invite the general public to join them for this free event.
The featured speaker for this year’s ceremony is Patrick Stevenson, Director of Nursing Services at the Mexico Veterans Home. Patrick Stevenson began his nursing career in 1995 at Gamma Road Nursing Center in Wellsville, Missouri. He graduated from MACC’s ADN program in 1999 and became a Registered Nurse. He then became the Director of Nursing Services at Gamma Road Nursing Center. Stevenson became the Director of Nursing Services at the Missouri Veterans Home in Mexico in 2005 while also serving as a weekend Nursing Supervisor at Audrain Medical Center/Hospital from 2004 until its closing in 2018. He has served as the Advisory Board President for MACC-Mexico’s Practical Nursing Program for over 15 years as well as serving on the admissions committee.
The Veterans Ceremony will also include the Moberly High School JROTC Color Guard and members of the MACC Singers.
MACC welcomes the public to attend this ceremony honoring the brave men and women who served our nation in the Armed Forces.
